Conference Hotel
We recommend getting a taxi or lyft from either the train station or BWI to the conference hotel. The conference hotel is the Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown, located at 24 W Franklin St, Baltimore, MD 21201 and (410) 625-6200. From the airport, the hotel is also accessible from light rail and is two blocks east and a few block few blocks north of the Lexington Market stop. If we booked your hotel, the reservation will be under your name.
Conference Location
The conference is at Red Emma’s Cooperative Bookstore and Coffeehouse, located at 1225 Cathedral St, Baltimore, MD 21201 and http://redemmas.org. From the airport, Red Emma’s is just a few blocks east of the Cultural Center (northbound) stop.
To get from the hotel to the Red Emma’s, you can walk directly up Cathedral street to West Preston street. It is less than a mile and is estimated to take about 15 minutes. The entrance of Red Emma’s is located on the corner of Cathedral St and West Preston St.
Getting to the AAG
The conference ends at 2:30PM on Tuesday, April 2nd. There are numerous trains departing from Baltimore Penn Station after 3PM that can take you DC’s Union Station and depending on the train, can range from $10 to $100. Baltimore Penn Station is less than a 10 minute walk from Red Emma’s.
